Carolyn Jean Lisy

Carolyn Jean Lisy, 60, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008, at Atrium Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Circle Ginny, a group home which houses mentally challenged female residents and later a resident at Garden Manor. She was the beloved daughter of Frank and Mary (Bors) Lisy of Middletown who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth L. (Robert) Smith of Bergen, NY, , Marlene (Don) Yauch of Hilliard, OH and Lisy (Bill) Meyers of N. Haverhill, New Hampshire; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

We would like to honor Catherine Thomas, manager of the facility, along with her staff for their dedication and special care given to Carolyn Jean during the years she resided at Circle Ginny, as well as Patricia Boggs, Garden Manor and the ICU staff for their concern and care.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 1:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Monsignor Paul Metzger officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Group Home at Circle Ginny, c/o Catherine Thomas, 1928-1930 Circle Ginny, Middletown, OH 45044.
