Catherine J. Martin

Catherine J. Martin, 88, of Trenton, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 13, 1920 to parents Louis and Mary (Jezik) Gaston.

She is survived by three sons, Bill (Carol) Martin, Jim (Sandy) Martin and John (Georgia) Martin; a daughter, Kathryn (Mark) Meyer, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Tina (Jim) Ryan and Irene Downing and the children's father, Frederick Martin.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Louie, Charlie and Frank Gaston, and four sisters, Mary Hoff, Josephine Kirkpatrick, Theresa Gaston and Rosie Wills.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish-St John's Church, Middletown, with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
