Catherine L. Foxbower

Catherine L. (Marr) Foxbower, 88, of Middletown, died Saturday, February 13, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 11, 1921 to parents Lawrence and Myrtle (Schafer) Marr.

Catherine was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows. She volunteered at church as well as various nursing homes in Lebanon.

Mrs. Foxbower is survived by her sons, John (Linda) Foxbower, James (Zetta) Foxbower; daughter, Phyllis (Corbett) Harris; nine grandchildren, Lee, Mellissa, Chad, Meredith, Tricia, Andrew, Mark, Christy & Jessica; and nine great grandchildren, Alexis, Jacob, Brody, Braydon, Danielle, Cassidy, Emily, Natalie & Gavin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Foxbower in 1999; her parents; and brothers, William Marr and Lawrence (Kathryn) Marr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon Street, Monroe with Father Hans Gruenbauer as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Miami Township.
