Hecht, Catherine L.

Catherine L. Hecht, 85, of Middletown, died Sunday, July 3, 2011, at home. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on November 2, 1925 to parents Joseph and Ella (Kelly) Hecht.

Catherine was a member of Holy Family Parish and retired from Armco Steel in 1986.

Miss Hecht is survived by nieces, Anita Sutton and Mary Mayer; nephew, John Waddles; great nieces, Angela (Mike) Wheeler and Katie Sutton; great nephew, Steven (Teresa) Barnhart and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Margaret Waddles and great nephew, Mark Barnhart.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
