Cecil W. Taylor

Cecil W. Taylor, 79, of Middletown, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on August 20, 1937 to parents Judge and Rose (Dalton) Taylor.

Cecil worked for Crystal Tissue for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He served his country in the United States Army. Cecil was an avid sports fan both as a spectator and a participant and he was a fan of old Western movies. He was a woodworker and generally a Jack-Of-All-Trades.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Carol S. (Spade) Taylor; brothers, Ralph (Florence) Taylor, Winfred (Diana) Taylor & Robert Taylor; sister-in-law, Barbara Bicknell; brother-in-law, Tom (Patricia) Spade; sister-in-law, Linda (John) Robertson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Windle Taylor.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, OH 45005.
