Charles A. Isaacs, 59, of Trenton, died Thursday, October 10, 2002 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton on September 19, 1943 to parents Charles G. and Ruth (Chrisman) Isaacs.
Charles worked for Klockner-Namasco (formerly Blake Steel Service) as a transportation supervisor for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He was an active member of Grace Baptist Church, where he served as an usher and trustee, worked with the youth department and drove the senior citizens on field trips. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and an avid John Deere collector.
Mr. Isaacs is survived by his wife Patricia (Pruitt) Isaacs of Trenton; a son Charles A. Isaacs II of Trenton; a daughter Julie A. (Calvin) Woodrey of Trenton; grandchildren Christopher & Tricia Ann Woodrey; sisters Mildred (Steve) Campbell and Charlotte (Bob) Couts both of Trenton; and his mother Ruth Isaacs.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 14, 2002 at 10:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 3023 N. Union Rd, Middletown, with Pastor Roger Green officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. Entombment will be in Butler County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
