Charles E. Sherrick, 63 of Middletown, died Friday May 26, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Hopewell, Virginia on August 27, 1942 to parents John R. and Dorothy (Lowe) Sherrick.
Charles served his country in the United States Army. He retired form General Motors after 32 years and was currently working for Lake Front Lines as a bus driver.
Mr. Sherrick is survived by his wife Joy (McAtee) Sherrick of Middletown, three sons Paul (Kelly) Sherrick of Columbus, Ohio, Jeffrey (Angela) Sherrick of Trenton, Andy Sherrick of Middletown, a daughter Cathy Sherrick of Middletown, four grandchildren; Kendall, Ethan, Morgan, and Elianna Sherrick, four brothers; Robert Sherrick, Ronald, Bobby and Randy Stewart, a sister Patty Curtis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Sherrick and Dorothy (Jack) Stewart, and a sister Norma Byus.
Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday May 31, 2006 at 10 AM at Holy Family Parish-St. John’s Church with Fr. John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday May 30 from 6-8 PM at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.). Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 218.
