Charles E. Williams

Charles E. Williams, 80, of Middletown, died Friday, September 2, 2011, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on October 19, 1930 to parents French and Neta (Downing) Williams.

Charles served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as an electrician for 42 years at Smurfit Stone Container, retiring in 1993 and was member of the First Christian Church, Middletown.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Irene L. Williams of Middletown; son, Gregory (Angie) Williams of Germantown Hills, Illinois and grandchildren Matthew and Rebekah Williams both of Germantown Hills, Illinois.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Williams.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 1:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Laureen Roe officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00am - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church, 4520 Rosedale Rd., Middletown, Ohio 45042.
