Charles G. "Chuck" Demostenes

Charles G. “Chuck” Demostenes, 60, of Middletown, died Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown on February 18, 1957 to parents Paul and Shirley (Oakley) Demostenes.

Chuck worked as a dispatcher for the Middletown Police Department for 25 years and was a member of the F.O.P. He was secretary for the Middletown Bowlers Association and was inducted into the Middletown Bowing Hall of Fame. He was involved with the Middletown Junior Bowlers and also active with MYSA.

Mr. Demostenes will be greatly missed by his wife, Judith (Sebastian) Demostenes; daughters, Christina (Chris) London & Hillary (Justin Shields) Demostenes; father, Paul Demostenes; brother, Jim Demostenes; sisters, Diane Ballard & Debbie (Mike) Willman-Harter; and grandson, Cooper Shields; as well as step siblings and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Demostenes.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown with Pastor Lamar Ferrell officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
