Charles Gibson

Charles "Charlie" Gibson, 72, of Middletown, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Lerose, Kentucky on March 8, 1939 to parents Taylor and Mary (Caudill) Gibson.

Charlie worked as a cement finisher for Armrel Byrnes Company for more than 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Eagles Aerie #3458, Loyal Order of Moose #501 and the Meadowlawn Social Club.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife, Jane (Young) Gibson; sons, Danny (Teri) Gibson, Michael (Liz) Gibson, Charles (Jonette) Gibson, Scott (Angie) Gibson & Kenny (Heidi) Gibson; daughter, Renee Gibson; brother, Finley Gibson; sisters, Elsie Musick, Alice Collingsworth, Bertha Robert, Mary Ann Brown & Christine Tucker; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eneida Marie Gibson in 1976; parents; brothers, William, Albert, Stanley & Delbert Gibson and sister, Oma Fox.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, February 20, 2012 at 6:00 pm at Eagles Lodge #3458, 2114 Oxford State Rd., Middletown.
