Charles James "Jim" Loman, 81, formerly of Trenton, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Jewish Hospital. He was born in Hamilton on July 19, 1934 to parents Charles C. and Aletha (Lemmons) Loman.
Jim had worked as a machine operator for Chrysler Automotive. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He married Bernice Abrams on Sept 7, 1957. Jim was a member of Trenton First Church of God, was a volunteer with the Trenton Fire Department and enjoyed coaching with Trenton Knothole.
Mr. Loman is survived by his daughters, Kim (Tim) Hanks of Hamilton & Tanya (Steve) Fraley of Middletown; sisters, Betty (Edward) Haskell, Wanda Woodrey, Kathy (Wayne) Bennett, Dorothy Taylor & Melody (Lonnie) Proffitt; grandchildren, Lindsey (Jeffrey) Ogden, Derek (Erin) Hanks, Jared Hanks, Kyle Fraley & Erika Fraley; and great grandchildren, Olivia & Lorelai Ogden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Loman.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Vicki Trowbridge officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
