Charles R. Calvert

Charles R. Calvert, 71, of Trenton, died Monday, August 1, 2016 at Hospice of Blue Ash. He was born in Cincinnati on December 19, 1944 to parents Charles H. & Pauline (Stauss) Calvert.

Charles had worked as a truck driver for Hill-Rom and then for Magnode, retiring in 2009 after 48 years in the profession. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Name of Jesus Council 15330 and 4th Degree Knight with Monsignor McNary Assembly 2299.

Mr. Calvert is survived by his wife, Judith "Judy" (Kobos) Calvert; two children, Lisa (Roger) Mullen & Daniel (Barbara) Calvert; a step-son, Patrick (Wendy) Fryman; sister, Mary McFarland; and five grandchildren, William, Anna, Douglas, Trenton & Avery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Douglas Calvert; and brother, Timothy D. Calvert.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton with Father Stephen Lattner OSB as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 – 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park will take place at a later date.
