Cheri G. Berns

Cheri G. Berns, 65, loving wife and mother, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Cincinnati on May 13, 1958 to parents, William and Marjorie Marie (Adams) Game. both of whom preceded her in death.

Cheri was devoted to her family and enjoyed making a loving home for them. She liked to be outdoors, tending to her own gardens, as well as being involved with Berns Garden Center. She went to college later in life, focused on Early Education and after earning her degree from Miami University, she found her passion in working with children in pre-schools. She was creative, inventive, and charismatic and found joy through the little moments of life.

Cheri is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Berns; daughters, Shannon (Zeke) Irving & Sara (Zac) Richman; and grandchildren, Shelby Morgan & Henley Richman.

A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Brian Garver officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
