Christine L. Centers

Christine L. Centers, 81, of Middletown, died Monday, September 28, 2009, at Close To Home Assisted Living. She was born in Middletown on December 16, 1927 to parents Clyde and Irene (Beagle) Barker.

Christine worked as a sales clerk for Elder-Beerman.

Mrs. Centers is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Clayton) Kieffaber; brother, Larry Barker; sisters, Dorothy (Vernon) Francis and Betty (Nelson) Borchers; and sisters-in-law, Bobbie Barker and Barbara Barker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Centers in 1980; her parents; and brothers, Ralph, Wayne, Gene, Everett, & Donald Barker.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Ed Cloninger officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
