Chuck A. Ricketts, 36, of Fairfield, Oh. died Saturday, April 26, 2003 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Oh. He was born Sept., 3, 1966 in Hamilton, Oh. to W. Charles Ricketts and Terry (Combs) Avina. Chuck was a member of the Middletown Sportsman’s Club, Duck’s Unlimited, and the National Rifle Association. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. Chuck was Vice President and Co-Owner of C&C Garage Doors Inc. Here in Middletown.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Kelly Ricketts; a son, Benjamin J. Ricketts; his father and step-mother, W. Charles Ricketts and Lin A. MacShara of Middletown; his mother and step-father, Terry and Oscar Avina of Middletown; a grandmother, Helen F. Combs; a brother, Dana L. Ricketts of Middletown; two sisters, Christy L.(Mike) Forsythe and Kelly Jo Shepard both of Middletown, his father-in law and mother in-law, J. Nick and Betty R. Honerlaw of Glendale, Oh.; a sister in-law, Niccole Whitfield of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Minnie Ricketts and G. Sercy Combs.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home, Inc., 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita with Rev. Paul Helms officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2003 from 5-8p.m. at the funeral home.
