Claire A Bendel

Claire A. Bendel, 74, of Franklin, died Saturday, May 2, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Zanesville on March 13, 1935 to parents Louis and Louise (Dosch) King.

Claire worked at Laurens Brothers Machine Shop and Kings Island. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Warren County Extension of Homemakers Club and the Red Hat Society.

Mrs. Bendel is survived by her husband, Joseph Mark Bendel; two children, Laura McCandless and Brian (Sherry) Bendel; brother, Steven (Judith) King; sister, Mary Lou (Craig) Myers; 5 grandchildren; and many other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James King.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Monsignor Paul Metzger as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:30 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
