Claire E. Marshall

Claire E. Long Marshall, 59, of Middletown, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at home. She was born in Naples, Italy on December 18, 1952 to parents James and Mary (Schmidt) Long.

Claire worked as a registered nurse in the area for many years, most recently at Lebanon Correctional Institution. She graduated from Fenwick High School in 1970 and went on to graduate from Saint Elizabeth of Dayton with a nursing degree.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband, Joe Marshall; brothers, Jim (Patty) Long, Dave (Carol) Long & Chris (Lisa) Long; sisters, Margaret Long Runyan, Ann Long Everett & Cathy Long (Mike) Mahoney; nieces & nephews, Kristen Hollinger, Stephen Long, Ethan Long, Ruth Long, Heather Everett, Jamie Everett, Matthew Everett, Josh Long & Mason Mahoney; great nephew, David Long; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Burke; and brothers-in-law, Paul (Carlene) Marshall & Jim (Mary Ruth) Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
