Clara Elizabeth Record

Clara Elizabeth Record, 91, formerly of Middletown, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown on August 11, 1918 to parents William M. and Lucy Ann (Phipps) Adams.

Clara worked as treasurer for Middletown Motor Mart. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Town & Country Garden Club and the Birdseye Blossom Quilt Guild.

Mrs. Record is survived by her two sons, Clark (Stephanie) Record and Daniel L. Record; two grandchildren, Matthew D. (Lori) Record and Elizabeth M. Boich; and one great grandchild, Madison Record.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Webster C. Record in 1995; her brother, Harold Adams and her parents.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Reverend Dean Penrod officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church, 120 S. Broad Street, Middletown, OH 45044.
