Clarence Fishbaugh

Clarence Schuyler Fishbaugh, 87, of Middletown, died Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on September 22, 1927.

Clarence was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Vincent dePaul, and a previous member of Elks Club (Elk Tones), Evening Optimist, Cotillion Mixers, & Wildwood Golf Club. Clarence was a Sergeant in the Army Air Corps from Dec 1945 to Nov 1948. He was stationed in Munich, Germany from Oct 1946 until 1948. Clarence met Ann in Nov 1946 and they married in 1948. He established Fishbaugh Homes in 1969.

Mr. Fishbaugh is survived by his wife, Ann (Laemmerer) Fishbaugh; three children, Rick (Sherry) Fishbaugh, Dan (Susan) Fishbaugh & Nancy (Mike) Woodward; brothers, William Fishbaugh & Jack Fishbaugh; sister-in-law, Virginia Fishbaugh; nine grandchildren, Sr. Chief Petty Officer David (Amy) Fishbaugh, Christina Paparo, Nikki Woodward, Meredith Fishbaugh, Christopher (Kristin) Fishbaugh, Katie (Stephen) Malone, Elissa (Brandon) McFarland, Willie Woodward & Micah (Jenn) Fening; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence M. Schuyler, Antoinette & William Fishbaugh; and brother, John Fishbaugh.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
