Constantine N. (Charles) Revelos 69, of Middletown died on Saturday at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Middletown on March 1, 1938, to Nicholas and Frosine (Aridas) Revelos.
Mr. Revelos is survived by his mother Frosine Revelos, three brothers George N. Revelos, Mike ( Katina) Revelos, and Chris ( Elaine Renee) Revelos, a sister Lula Poulias. Three nephews Nicholas M. Revelos, Alcibiades Poulias, Nicholas C. Revelos; five nieces Euphrosyne (Rick) Eccher, Mary Michael Revelos, Jamie (Vernon) Beatty, Francine (James) Ulrich, and Chrisanne (Jeffery) Heisey. Also two great ?nephews and two great nieces.
Mr. Revelos graduated from the Bowdoin College, with an AB and received his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, and his LL.M. from University of California at Berkeley
He was Professor of Law at the Detroit Law College Michigan State University from 1971 until his retirement in 2006. He was Dean and Associate Professor of Law at Chase Law School from 1967-1970. He was also Director of the 1997 Summer Law Program in Romania and was Director of the King of Scholars program. He wrote numerous law publications and reviews. He had been an arbitrator on the New York Stock exchange. He was a guest Lecturer in Romania , Canada and Lithuania on programs sponsored by the ABA.
He was a member of the ABA, Michigan & Ohio Bars, American Bankruptcy Institute and Commercial Law League of America.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at 11:00 am at Sts. Helen & Constantine Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Rev. Father Gregory S. Patsis officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Drive. A Trisagion Service will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday. Interment at Woodside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2500 Grand Ave. Middletown, Ohio 45044.
