Cynthia R.”Cindy” Malarkey, 48 of Germantown died on Sunday Oct. 3, 2004 at Middletown Regional Hospital.
On September 11, 1956, God gave our family a precious gift; a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, niece, grandmother & friend. On October 3, 2004, God returned her home to her Savior. She will be sadly missed by family & friends, but the angels will rejoice to have her in their presence.
Cindy attended Poasttown Church of God and was a member of the Church of Christ in Centerville. She worked at the Germantown IGA.
Mrs. Malarkey was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Van & Myrtle Yancey; paternal grandparents Doc & Annie Blevins; numerous aunts, uncles & nieces.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Billy Malarkey of Germantown, OH; two sons, Jason McKnight and Ian O’Connor of Germantown; a step-daughter, Jamie Shannon Malarkey of Frankfort, IN; two brothers, Fred (Connie) Blevins of Middletown & Brian (Tina) Blevins of Germantown; one sister, Debborah (Jeff) Akers of Middletown; father, Fred (Vernita) Blevins of Middletown; mother, Jewell Rukavina of Middletown; 2 grandsons, Tanner McKnight & Trevor Barnard; nieces, Bianca Elliott, Brianna, Taylor & Lacianna Blevins and Maria Akers; nephews, Matthew & Van (Diana) Gentry, Dustin & Travis Blevins & Chris Akers; sisters-in-law Nancy Stout & Patty Johnson; brother-in-law, Bobby (Susan) Malarkey; mother-in-law & step father-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Donald Fisher; father-in-law, Bill Malarkey; three great nieces, Olivia, Mara & Kendel; 3 great nephews, Cameron, Evan & Wesley & numerous other nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 11 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Reverend Randy Wallace officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
