Dan E. Moreland

Dan E. Moreland, 71, of Franklin, died Monday, November 5, 2007, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Stanton, Kentucky on May 18, 1936 to parents James F. and Irene (Whisman) Moreland.

Dan was the owner of Red Lion Truck and Supply Company for 38 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Moreland is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Abdon) Moreland; one son, Danny E. (Molly) Moreland Jr.; two brothers, William (Faye) Moreland and James Moreland; special friends, Mac & Wilmetta Harper; as well as many other relatives & friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Bette L. Moreland.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hamilton.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
