Dana Wade Prichard

Dana Wade Prichard, 76, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Burnwell, West Virginia on April 6, 1947 to parents, Lawrence M. and Ruby (Kitchen) Prichard.

Dana had worked in the BOF at Armco/AK Steel for over 37 years, retiring in 2006. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Dana was a model train enthusiast. He loved being outdoors, whether that was gardening, doing yardwork, hunting, fishing (especially on Lake Erie), boating, or riding his motorcycle. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Aidan.

Dana loved his family and will be greatly missed by his wife, Sandra J. (Hewitt) Prichard; daughter, Nicole Lynn (Kelly James) Prichard-Coleman; brother, Fred Wilson Prichard; sister, Alice Ann Prichard; and grandson, Aidan James Coleman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence Gordon Prichard & Eugene Prichard.

Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Butler County Memorial Park (Field of Honor section), 4570 Trenton-Oxford Rd., Wayne Township, with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
