Daniel L. Rich

Daniel L. Rich, 79, of Madison Township, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at his home. He was born in Hamilton on April 6, 1937 to parents Clyde and Elizabeth (Corbett) Rich.

Dan worked in the carpenter shop at Armco / AK Steel for 39 years, retiring in 1994. He served his country in the United States Army. Dan was a member of Holy Family Parish, Loyal Order of Moose #501 and was an avid golfer and worked at Weatherwax Golf Course.

Mr. Rich is survived by his three children, Gary L. (Rochelle) Rich, Melissa A. (Alan) Church & D. Scott (Lori Klinefelter) Rich; brother, Tom Rich; sister Winnie Donnelly; six grandchildren, Salena (Brad) Hall, Lily Church, Olivia Rich, Clyde Rich, Lauren Rich & Bennett Rich; and two great grandchildren, Mena Hall & William Hall.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Rich in 2009; parents; and sister, Ann Hoeven.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
