Danny E. Conarroe

Danny Ely Conarroe, 71, of Ashland, Kentucky, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Huntington VA Medical Center. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on January 30, 1941 to parents Clarence and Ruth (Phillips) Conarroe.

Danny was a veteran of the United States Air Force, member of the Democratic Executive Committee and member of the Mennonite Church in Trenton, Ohio. He was self employed at many different ventures over the years.

Mr. Conarroe is survived by his wife, Vera (Stretcher) Conarroe; son, Darrin Conarroe of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter, Anna (Anthony) Sparks of Owensboro, Kentucky and grandchildren, Ashley Sparks, Amber Sparks, Adam Sparks & Carter Conarroe.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Conarroe.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Maurice Dunn and Phillip Conarroe officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Mennonite Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Huntington VA Medical Center, 1540 Spring Valley Dr., Huntington, West Virginia 25704.
