David E. Gray

David E. Gray, 86, of Middletown, died Saturday, September 2, 2017, at home. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on October 6, 1930 to parents Clifford and Bessie Mae (Jackson) Gray.

David served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of American Legion Post 218, Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post #3805 and Loyal Order Of Moose #501, S. Main Street, Middletown, OH 45044. He retired from Aeronca in 1991 after 36 years.

Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Joanne Taylor; sons, David L. Gray, Donald Gray and daughter, Cindi (Frederick "Butch") Keene; grandson, Jamie L. Keene, sister-in-law Donna Pugh and 5 additional grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Margaret Gray; brothers, Harold, Richard, Charles, Ralph, Raymond, Robert And Donald; sisters, Ruth Brelsford, Anna Mae Bowlin, Jean Lovely and Phyllis White.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
