David L. 'Fred' Jones

David L. "Fred" Jones, 63, formerly of Middletown, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013. He was born in Middletown on September 24, 1949 to parents Russell R. Jones and Charlotte (Myers) Byrnes.

Fred worked as a carpenter / contractor and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #501.

Mr. Jones is survived by his son, Nicholas Jones; mother, Charlotte Byrnes; sisters, Cydney Sue Jones, Sandy (Russ) Willis & Trish (Ray) Roberts; three grandchildren, Austin Herr, Kristopher Sortman & Jade Devault; and many nieces, nephews & friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Destiny Lynch; and step father, Robert Byrnes.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
