David L. Strong

David L. Strong, 71, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019, in Florida. He was born in Hamilton on June 26, 1947 to parents Cecil and Ann (McVay) Strong.

David had been a police officer with Middletown Police Department, then worked as a Probation Officer for Butler County until retiring in 2008. He served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Strong is survived by his wife, Linda (Volle) Strong; daughters, Kelly Harig & Tracie (Kevin) Shibley; brother, Keith Strong; sisters, Darla Sabo & Angela Barnett; and grandchildren, Nathan, Preston, Owen, Keaton, Bradie & Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Chaplain Ed Bastien officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Military honors will be presented.
