Dixie L. Dunlop, 64, of Middletown, died Thursday, January 11, 2007, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown, on November 19, 1942 to parents Charles W. and Cecilia Marie (Lay) Cramer.
Mrs. Dunlop worked in administration support for Armco (AK) Steel from 1974 to 1993 and then for Lockwood-Greene from 1993 until retiring in 1998.
Dixie is survived by her son, Sam Dunlop (companion Suzanne M. Reynolds); her mother, Cecilia M. Cramer; two sisters, Mona (Cecil) Short, Lori Cramer; four brothers Bill Cramer, Bob Cramer (companion Angela Cook), Jim (Bev) Cramer, Chuck (Kim) Cramer; aunt, Betty Snell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Kitty Lantis.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to DaVita Healthcare.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), with Pastor Tim Sheets officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-5 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Butler County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
