Don Miller, 72, died Wednesday, at Middletown Regional Hospital. Don served his country as a medic in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Armco Steel Corp. as a welder for 38 years, retiring in 1986. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion Post 218, the Disabled American Veterans, the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Orioles. He was an avid card player and loved to hunt and fish.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife Helen (Davis) Miller; son David W. Miller; brothers Allen G. Miller and George T. Miller; sisters Mary Alice Fox, Kathryn Mihaliak, and Virginia Parsons; granddaughter Heather Gillen and her mother Deborah Ann Spurlock, grandsons Adam and Eric Miller and their mother Tammy Miller; and great grandchildren Haley Eldridge and Taylor Gillen. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Paul F. and Warren Miller.
Dr. Howard Sears will officiate the funeral service.
