Donald D Poffenbarger

Donald D. Poffenbarger, age 74 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 29, 2008. He was born in Middletown on February 13, 1934 to parents Charles and Florence (Goins) Poffenbarger. Don was a member of the Miltonville Baptist Church for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of the Middletown Sportsman Club, and a member of A.T.A and NRA. Don enjoyed trapshooting, fishing, boating and motorcycle riding.

Donald was the beloved husband of Phyllis and a loving dad to Wayne (Andra) Poffenbarger and Monica (Jim) Smith. He is also survived by his brother Darrell (Nancy) Poffenbarger, grandson Jason Donald Wilson, granddaughter Lisa (Dave) Miller, and great grandchildren Caitlyn, Dylan, Alexys, and Ryan.

Don was preceded in death by his loving parents, and his brother and sister-in-law Everett (Erma) Poffenbarger.

Visitation will be Monday December 1, 2008 at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home (3805 Roosevelt Blvd.) from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday December 2, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at Miltonville Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Brazelton officiating.
