Donald L. Hoskins

Donald L. "Puss" Hoskins, 85, of Middletown, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Middletown on August 6, 1927 to parents Levi and Cecil Leona (Patterson) Hoskins.

Don worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Loyal Order of Moose #501 and the Middletown Elks Lodge #257. He loved to listen to the Cincinnati Reds on the radio, liked NASCAR and enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Hoskins is survived by his brother-in-law, Thomas Frebis; nieces, Katherine Beatty & Cynthia (James) Conti; nephew, Michael Frebis; great nephews, Shane Conti & Matthew Beatty; and great nieces, Sara Frebis & Katie Frebis.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Frances F. Hoskins in Oct 2002; parents; brother, Richard Hoskins; and niece, Lisa Hoskins.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, Ohio 45005.
