Donna J. Gomia

Donna J. Gomia, 79, of Middletown, died Sunday, September 23, 2018. She was born in Middletown on March 8, 1939 to parents Lawrence and Eileen (Fisher) Wardlow.

Donna was a member of Holy Family Parish and was a life-member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a mother of three children and grandmother of six. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Gomia is survived by her daughters, Vicky (Bill) Jamison & Lisa Abell (Larry) Foley; sisters, Melody (Jerry) Knight & Rhonda (Bob) Powell; grandchildren, Tony, Jillian, Adam, Ashley & Danielle; great grandchildren, Brennan, Tony, Johnathan, Christopher, Jaden, Gabrielle, Emma & Jionna; and loving nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Gomia; her parents; her daughter, Susan Duane; and her granddaughter, Diane Duane.

The family would like to thank the staff at Spring Hills of Middletown and the Hospice of Dayton team for Donna’s excellent care.

Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
