Doris A. Mandera, 69, of Middletown, Ohio died Monday, November 23, 2009, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born on October 27, 1940 and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to parents Albert and Margaret (Krummert) Buehler.
Mrs. Mandera graduated from Evans City High School. She was a housewife but worked and volunteered in nursing homes in Pennsylvania and at Barbara Park in Middletown. She belonged to the the Moose and Eagles.
Mrs. Mandera is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard L. Mandera of Middletown; one son, Scott Johnson of Middletown; two daughters, Kimberly (Wayne) Van Amberg of Middletown and Charmaine Petty of Lebanon and brother, Albert (Ruth) Buehler of Calery, PA and six grandchildren, Shane Warrington, Megan Heil, Christian Petty, Phoenix Petty, Brianna Johnson and Hunter Van Amburg.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents
Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00-8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Reverend Herman Emmert officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
