Doris Bors

Doris M. "Dottie" Bors, 78, died Tuesday, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She graduated from N. Quincy High School and attended nursing school in Boston. She married Jim Bors of Middletown 59 years ago and was co-owner of Jimbo's Drive Thru. She was an active member of Holy Family Parish, including the Holy Family Ladies Society.
Mrs. Bors is survived by her husband James M. Bors; son James M. (Lee) Bors, Jr.; daughters Katherine L. Vallance, Michelle Bors, Patricia (David) Siler, and Deborah M. (Richard) Gibbemeyer. She is also survived by a special sister Florence M. Hopkins, seven grandchildren Kimberly Kemmerling, Matt and Liz Vallance, Rachel and Laura Siler, and Julie and Kevin Gibbemeyer, and three great grandchildren Nat, Natalie, and Nick.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph A. & Katherine (Rankin) McLean, two brothers Charles and Joseph, and a sister Marie C. Dorsey.
Father John Civille will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.
