Doris Jean Reck

Doris Jean Reck, 85, of Mishawaka, IN, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 5, 1930 to parents; Joseph and Vina (Parker) Johnson.

A longtime Middletown resident, Doris volunteered for many years at Middletown Regional Hospital and for numerous other community and church organizations. She spent the past 12 years living near her son and family in Indiana.

Mrs. Reck is survived by her son; Daniel (Colleen) Reck; brother Charles (Marlene) Johnson; 3 grandchildren; and a great granddaughter as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years Richard Reck; sons, David Reck and Dale Reck.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
