Doris Jena, 70, of Middletown, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born October 26, 1931 in Mobile Alabama.
Doris was a member of the Holy Family Parish Ladies Society, she was the travel planner for AARP, and a very avid Bingo player. Doris also spent 10 years working for the U.S. Government, administering military entrance exams at local high schools.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Jena; seven sons, Dennis (Barbara) Jena of Oxford, Oh., Jeff (Carrie) Jena of Santa Ana, Calif., Raymond (Crystal) Jena of Clarksville, Indiana, Jay Jena, Donald Jena, Paul (Amber) Jena, all of Middletown, and John (Debbie) Jena of Springboro; one daughter, Rae Lyn Wise of Fort Wright, Ky; and thirteen grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her mother, Marie (Dehn) Longstaff.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church with Father Robert Jack as the Celebrant. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2002 from 5-8p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita.
