Doris Stella (Peltier) Clark, 85, of Middletown, died Sunday, September 23, 2007, at Kensington Place. She was born in Pain Court, Ontario, Canada on December 1, 1921 to parents Joseph and Alice (Casa) Peltier.
Doris was an ordained Pentecostal Minister and served as a missionary in Haiti in the 1980's. At one time, she and her husband, Bernard, had their own church in Michigan. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard H. Clark in 1997; a son, Phillip J. Aqwa; her parents; brother, Donald (Diane) Lesprance; and sisters, Irene (Bill) Barton, Mildred (Ernie) Quellette, and Elaine (Edward) Lewis.
She is survived by two children, Barry B. (Mary Lou) Aqwa of Farmington Hills, MI and Dollie (James) DeGrow of Middletown; two brothers, Gerald (Yvonne) Peltier and Joseph (Audrey) Peltier, and sister-in-law, Diane Lesprance, all of Windsor, Ontario, Canada; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and special friends, Shirley McKenney, Ruth Cruiz, and Kathy Couche.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, Sept 26, 2007 at 2:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Richard Tewell officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
