Dorotha M. Secrist

Dorotha M. Secrist, 93, of Monroe, Ohio, died on October 14, 2005, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Wilmington, Ohio on January 2, 1912 to parents Thomas and Alta L. (Mercer) Fenton.

Mrs. Secrist was an Accountant for Aeronca for 23 years retiring in 1977. She was a member of DAR, Middletown Business and Professional Women., Profesional Secretaries, a life member of Salvation Army Womens Auxillary, Church Women United and Loyal Friends class of First Christian Church.


She is survived by her, Uncle, Howard Armstrong, friends, Marilyn Strong and Lynn Riley; and many cousin, including Hazel Marsh.

Dorotha was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 1:00 PM at First Christian Church with minister Robert Harris officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2005 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at First Christian Church, 4520 Rosedale Rd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
