Dorothy F. Miles

Dorothy Frances Miles, 81, of Middletown, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on July 15, 1928 to parents William J.J. and Minnie (Shultz) Miles.

Dorothy worked as an operator/dispatcher for Ohio Bell for 36 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Ladies Society of Holy Family and the Third Order of Saint Francis.

Miss Miles is survived by her sisters, Marguerite L. Miles and Janet M. Keller; brother-in-law, Sandy (Margie) Smith; nieces & nephews, Kimberly (John) Billings, Miles (Joanie) Keller, Kristin (Gary) Ryan, Jeffrey Keller, Melissa (Mike) Steele, Aimee (Gregg) Sutphin, Sean (Karen) Keller, Megan (Greg) Harvey, Jonathan (Jessica) Keller and Bridget (Craig) Southerland; and numerous great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth J. Smith; nephew, Todd A. Keller and brother-in-law Shirley C. Keller, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 26, 2010 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
