Dorothy H. Dunham

Dorothy H. Dunham, 93, of Middletown, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown on July 7, 1921 to parents Frank R. and Myrle S. (Thompson) Hubbard.

Dorothy graduated from Middletown High School in 1939 and from the Middletown Hospital School of Nursing in 1943. She served her country as a nurse with the rank of First Lieutenant in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II and then with the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After discharge she worked as a nurse for the Veteran's Administration until her retirement.

Mrs. Dunham is survived by her niece, Patricia Hubbard; nephew, Mark Stephen Hubbard; 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Dunham in 1986; parents; brother, John D. Hubbard; and nephew, David Michael Hubbard.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
