Dorothy Richeson

Dorothy H. "Dottie" Richeson, 76, of Middletown, died Sunday, October 6, 2002 at her residence. She was born in Newport, Kentucky on March 19, 1926 to parents Lafe and Mayme (Soule) Highley.

Dottie worked for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as a budget analyst for 26 years. She was a member of Living Word Church.

Mrs. Richeson is survived by her husband Harold Richeson of Middletown; a son Kent Richeson of Middletown; a brother, George (Kay) Highley of Carlisle; two sisters Alma Roark and Ethel Proctor both of Middletown; two granddaughters Jessica and Jennifer Allen; a great grandson, Kaleb Allen Michael Hency; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Millard, Wilbur, Charles, and Edward Highley; and sisters Susan Leonard, Bethel Lykins, Margaret Convis, and Betty Hill.

Dottie has been loved and will be missed not only by her Middletown friends and family but also by her Wright-Patterson family and co-workers.

Funeral service will be Thursday, October 10, 2002 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., with Pastor Tim Sheets officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
