Dottie F. Collins, 67, of Middletown, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Dwarf, Kentucky on May 29, 1936 to parents John and Fayma M. Combs.
Mrs. Collins served her country in the United States Air Force. She worked for McDonalds at both the Monroe and Verity Parkway restaurants. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, all sports, gardening, and flowers.
Dottie is survived by her husband Frank Collins; one daughter, Angie (Doug) Whiteman of Middletown, OH; two sons, Donald Martinez of Xenia, OH, and Kanani 'Chopper' (Angie) Whaley of Middletown, OH; three sisters, Molly Lakes of Monroe, OH, Atha (Ray) Powell of Waynesville, OH, and Kathy Coulter of West Carrollton, OH; two brothers, Desmond (Linda) Combs of Hamilton, OH, and Charles (Lynn) Combs of Middletown, OH; and seven grandchildren, Brandon Whaley, Ryan Whaley, Adam Whaley, Logan Whaley, Taylor Whiteman, Hunter Whiteman, and Mason Whiteman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lillian Brooks; and an infant daughter, Angela Whaley.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
