Dr. John J. Harris

Dr. John J. Harris, 67, of Monroe, died Thursday, May 17, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Middletown on November 14, 1944 to parents Dr. Jack L. and Irene L. (Willsey) Harris.

Following graduation from the University of Tennessee at Memphis Dr. Harris worked for several area hospitals before retiring in 2010. He served his country in the United States Air Force.

Dr. Harris is survived by his wife, Sue (Helton) Harris; sons, Timothy Scott Harris & Eric Todd Harris; cherished step-daughters, Natalie Harris & Nicole (David) Hawkins; brothers, Jeffrey Harris & Christopher Harris; sister, Deborah Love; and grandchildren, Tyler Harris, Sydney Harris & Jensen Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
