Frank Andrew "Drew" Donisi, 47, died March, 10, with his family by his side at The Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born November 29, 1964, Middletown, Ohio, he was a 1983 graduate of
Franklin High School and attended ITT Technical Institute in Dayton, Ohio, where he earned an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Drew was employed as a Project Engineer at Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS). Drew had three loves; his family, his work, and his comedy. His humor,
character, and energy transcended all three. "Droopy Drew" was passionate about making people laugh. He was an active member of the Sons of Italy and a parishioner of Holy Family Parish in Middletown, Ohio. He touched so many lives, always leaving an indelible impression. His eyes would light up when he spoke about his two boys, Tre and Gino and the love he had for his wife Mickie was endless.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle "Mickie" (Owens) Donisi, and his two boys Tre, 10, and Gino, 6, his grandmother, Philomena Donisi, his father, Angelo A. Donisi Sr., stepmother, Sandy Donisi, sister, Cathi Brooks, brothers Angelo Anthony "Tony" (Gretchen) Donisi Jr., James Michael "Mike" (Kathy) Donisi, and Mark Vincent (Robyn) Donisi, 12 nieces, 12 nephews, and countless other family and friends, including the Kernkoff family. Preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Louise Donisi and grandfather Frank Andrew Donisi. He put a smile on the face of everyone he met.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
