Earl Oaks, 90, of Middletown, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at his home. He was born in Jackson, Kentucky on August 10, 1925 to parents Clayton and America (Lynch) Oaks.
Earl worked as a material handler for Ford Motor Company in Sharonville for 28 years, retiring in 1986. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Church of God in Jesus.
Mr. Oaks is survived by his daughter, Karen Roark; son, Edwin E. Oaks; sisters, Linda Young & Audrey (Charles) Howard; brothers, Harry (Joyce) Oaks & Finley (Diane) Oaks; grandchildren, Andrew (Stacey) Roark, Phillip Roark, Sarah (Dean Walsh) Constiner, Evan Oaks, Erin (George) Lacy, Kyle (Leanna) Oaks & Joni Oaks; and great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Naomi & Colton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith F. Oaks in 2002; daughter, Kim Holtzclaw in 2003; parents; sisters, Dixie Howard, Helen Couch, Cleta Potter & Maude Russell; and grandson, Kane Oaks.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Arnold Brewer officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum with military honors conducted by the Hamilton DAV Chapter #15.
