Eddie W. "Buck" Runnells

Eddie W. Runnells, 77, of Middletown, died Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant. He was born in Middletown on December 29, 1940 to parents Ralph and Goldie (Patrick) Runnells.

Eddie had worked in the shipping department of Sorg Paper Company, retiring in 2002. He attended Poasttown Church of God.

Mr. Runnells is survived by his son, David Runnells; sisters, Patty Brown & Freda (Ron) Lawson; grandchildren, Jacob (Melissa) Runnells, Krista Roberts & Heather Runnells; great grandchildren, Emma Roberts, Rosalie Runnells & Elise Runnells; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy A. (Fulmer) Runnells; daughter, Jennifer L. Roberts; parents; brother, Gerald Runnells; and sisters, Ada Sponsel, Wanda Sites & Phyllis Simmons.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
