Edith D. Chandler

Edith D. Chandler, 79, of Middletown, died Monday, February 9, 2004, at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Home. She was born in Logan, West Virginia on May 26, 1924 to parents Henderson and Derinda (Rose) Duncan.

Mrs. Chandler worked for General Motors for 28 years. She was enjoyed playing cards and was an active bridge player.

Edith is survived by two daughters, Nancy Kestermann, and Jody Barr both of Middletown; three grandchildren, Jessica (Brett) Bussiere, Joe Barr, and Karl Kestermann; and three great grandchildren, Madison & Kennedy Bussiere, and Angel Barr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert C. Chandler in 1978; a son, David L. Chandler; her parents; a brother, Harry Duncan; and a sister, Geneva Martin.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Reverend Tom Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
