Edna T. Donisi

Edna T. Donisi, 95, of Middletown, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Renaissance West at North Bend Crossing. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on January 3, 1920 to parents Elijah Franklin and Bertha Jane (Huff) Hollon.

Edna had worked as a cashier in school cafeterias for the Middletown City Schools, mostly at Jefferson Elementary School, retiring after 25 years. She had formerly worked for the IRS in Washington, DC and also Armco International AIC. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, where she was a member of the Holy Trinity Ladies Society and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council #105 which she had served as secretary. She also enjoyed playing Bocce with the Sons of Italy at Holy Trinity.

Mrs. Donisi is survived by her two daughters, Dana (Rick) Bragg & Kelly (Rodney) Reupert, whom she had adopted; four grandchildren, Amber (Ken) Trochelman, David Moorhead, Patrick Enright & Connor Enright; and three great grandchildren, Austun & Kara Trochelman & Kaddon Moorhead.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Donisi; grandson, Danuel Westcot; parents; three brothers, Clayton Hollon, Clyde Hollon & Clarence 'Woody' Hollon; and two sisters, Edith Derksen & Ella Mae Hollon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
