Edward F. Neu, 59, of Trenton, died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at Hospice of Cincinnati. He was born in Middletown, on October 2, 1944 to Edward F. and Aurelia (Imfeld) Neu, Sr..
Mr. Neu served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 218, the DAV, the Trenton Loyal Order of Moose, and the Elks. He was an active sports fan.
Edward is survived by his wife, Connie Neu of Trenton; his son, Scott Edward Neu of Eglin Air Force Base in Florida; his daughter, Julie M. (Sean) Salyers of Monroe; one brother, Keith Neu of Madeira, OH; father-in-law, William G. Taulbee of Trenton, OH; and four grandchildren, Hannah & Hunter Salyers, and Ashley & Payton Neu.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward F. Neu, Sr. and Aurelia “Dede” Neu .
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Father George Klein officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post 218 Honor Guard.
